Below is a list of our choirs here at Immaculate Conception with their requirements.

The adult choir at Immaculate Conception Parish is a group of dedicated musicians who strive to enhance the liturgy through song and music.

Husbands, wives, parents, children, new parishioners and individuals who were baptized in our church have made the choir their spiritual family and give back to the community through their ministry of music. Many members have been singing for over thirty years, while a few have just joined the spirit led group. Talent abounds with multiple members having university degrees in music while others have been gifted with beautiful voices and a love of song. These individuals unite with one voice in their love of God and Church.

Membership Requirements: While we encourage all trained musicians to join us, members simply need to have the ability to sing, follow, and make rehearsals on Tuesday evenings and sing at the 9:00AM Mass on Sunday mornings. The group also sings on Holy Days and special events. All members are asked to be at the church approximately one hour prior to singing a service. No fees are required to join, however we periodically take up collections for special causes.

Rehearsal Times: Tuesday evenings from 7 - 8:30PM 

Services: Sunday morning at the 9AM Mass (arrive for 8AM) 

Special Services:
Christmas (Midnight Mass)
Feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Vigil)
Easter (Vigil)
Other Holy Days and special services

Children in grades 2 through 8 are invited to join the Children's choir. The children sing on the first Sundays of the month (except January) at 11 a.m. Mass and on special occasions through Easter Sunday.  Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings during the Religious Education school year (September-May).  

The children will learn rhymes with instruments and improve their reading skills along with music fun! Rehearsals begin on September 13, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. We look forward to seeing your child there. Look for more details in the church bulletin.
