The Holy Spirit is the LIVING WATER "welling up to eternal life" in the heart that prays.
It is He who teaches us to accept it at its source: Christ.
Indeed in the Christian life there are several wellsprings
where Christ awaits us to enable us to drink of the Holy Spirit.

PRAYER in the events of each day and each moment is one of the secrets of the kingdom revealed to "little children," to the servants of Christ, to the poor of the Beatitudes. It is right and good to pray so that the coming of the kingdom of justice and peace may influence the march of history, but it is just as important to bring the help of prayer into humble, everyday situations; all forms of prayer can be the leaven to which the Lord compares the kingdom.

In the spirit of the Marian Movement of Priests the Knights of Columbus hosts a cenacle of prayer every Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Activity Center on Cockerham Rd. This Rosary is open to all parishioners. Please join us as we recite the rosary to honor Mary and nurture our growing dedication to the Will of God in our own lives.
The Sunday Family Cenacle group meets in a different families home on Sunday evenings. Beginning with the Rosary, then they pray for Pope Benedict XVI and for priests. They then make an Act of Consecration to Our Lady and hear one of her messages given to Fr. Gobi followed by a short silent Meditation.
"I ask that they open the doors of all their homes to me so that I may come in and take up my motherly dwelling among you."

The Respect Life Committee participates every Friday in the Adoration Chapel at noon in a Pro-Life Rosary and Chaplet for Priests. We pray the sorrowful mysteries with special meditations pertaining to specific areas of the unborn, praying for healing of the mothers and fathers of the aborted little ones, praying for the conversion of those involved in the medical profession, and for those who work in any way for life. Immediately after the rosary, we pray the Chaplet of Divine Love for Priests, where we pray for the Pope, Bishop Duca, and the priests, deacons, and seminarians of our parish.
Chaplet of Divine Love for Priests - Our Lady gave us this chaplet for priests. She asks that it be said often throughout the day and night and that praying it will release many graces for priests. This simple chaplet for Priests was given to the Brides of the Most Blessed Trinity by Our Lady of the Bayou. http://www.bmbtnow.com/
All are invited to join us at the Sacred Heart Mission Chapel in Livingston on Tuesdays at 1 p.m.
