Volunteers for Religious Education are necessary for our program to be successful. Volunteers are needed as to serve as Catechists, Aides, Substitutes, and Monitors. 

All volunteers deemed to have ongoing unsupervised contact with minors in the course of their ministries are required by the Diocese of Baton Rouge to:

1. Complete the EAPPs application for a background check. 

2.  Read the Code of Ethics and Behavior for Adults who Minister with Children in the Diocese of Baton Rouge and complete the Acknowledgement form. Code of Ethics    

3.  Complete the Safe and Sacred Training for Adults "Recognizing Child Abuse".

4.  Have their name screened through the Louisiana State Sex Offender Registry.

After completing requirements 1-3, turn in all forms to Amanda Milton in the Faith Formation Office.
